A Portable Shower stall is ideal for families looking to provide barrier free bathing without the expense of remodelling. Portable Showers offer full accessibility for wheelchair users, these folding wheelchair showers can be easily set-up in the kitchen (a laundry room or bedroom can also be used), the key requirement is to be within 10 – 12 feet of a sink. The kitchen shower can be folded away effectively making it a temporary shower solution.
The folding wheelchair shower is handicapped accessible and is perfect for people with disabilities who find traditional bathing facilities difficult or impossible to use. The Portable Showers are complete and can be set up anywhere there is access to warm water.
The person to be bathed often rolls into the shower stall in either a shower/commode style of wheelchair, or a regular wheelchair. Once inside the shower stall, a front support bar is lowered so that the fourth side of the shower pan can be attached for waste water collection. A front shower curtain may be brought around for the person who is able to do their own bathing, or may be left open for easier caregiver access to assist with the bathing.
Our most popular unit is the Standard Model which is 36" wide by 36" deep, and standing 48" tall. This model offer a complete set up for barrier free bathing, but does not support tilt-back wheelchairs.
While primarily intended for use at home, the APPS2000 is also the perfect travel shower.

To make transport and storage even easier, a hard-sided travel case is available for the APPS2000. The travel case has casters so it will roll easily, and two different handle arrangements.
The Standard Plus Model offers more room than the standard model, allowing for wheelchair pads. This model also does not support tilt-back wheelchairs.

When installing your portable shower the source of water is any standard sink faucet. Every folding portable shower includes a showerhead with approximately 12 feet of hose and a universal adapter to allow for connection to the sink faucet.
There is also a pump which pulls the waste water from the drain pan which then returns the waste water to the sink drain for disposal. A GFI is provided to protect the pump unit in case of any electrical failure.
